Main Purpose of Job
This position functions as the Program Director at the Secure Evaluation and Therapeutic Treatment program (SETT) a locked treatment facility for court ordered individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. This management position oversees the clinical and programmatic operations of a 32 bed forensic inpatient facility, approximately 90 staff and manages all aspects of the facility's operations through the direct supervision of professional staff. The Program Director provides leadership in resolving legal, programmatic and fiscal issues while maintaining compliance with State and Federal standards. The Program Director coordinates and collaborates with government agencies, legislators, private treatment providers, courts and detention centers.
Education: Bachelors Degree in health, human services, criminal justice, business administration or related field. A copy of your transcript must be attached to the application.
Experience: Six years of providing health services or overseeing operations in a behavioral health care setting (MH/Addictions/DD) to include experience in program planning, development or quality improvement initiatives. Four years of direct supervision of staff is required.
The successful applicant should have experience overseeing fiscal and human resources; experience with courts or criminal justice system.

Contractual employees who work for an agency covered under the State Employee and Retiree Health and Welfare Benefits Program (the Program), have a current employment contract and work 30 or more hours a week (or on average 130 hours per month) may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage for themselves and their dependents. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled. The State of Maryland will subsidize the remaining 75% of the cost for these benefits. You can also elect to enroll in dental coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible to pay the full premium for these benefits.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
