Supply Chain/Inventory Control Manager

Job Summary: Manage inventory through database and maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet production demands. Design and execute strategies and plans to meet short-term and long-term supply chain management goals and inventory control requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a supply chain management infrastructure.
Monitor inventory levels daily. Maintain accurate records in order to attain balanced stock levels.
Perform regular inventory cycle counts to ensure overall inventory accuracy.
Work with the COO on future stock orders. Make recommendations based on price, rebate programs, and historical and forecasting data.
Monitor all inventory items and notify appropriate personnel when items are discontinued.
Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists counts for monthly highlights.
Work with the Purchasing department personnel to maintain an up-to-date and accurate parts database.
Coordinate year-end inventory protocols.
Inventory and/or Supply Chain Management degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
