Warehouse Picker - Nights

Job Title: Warehouse Picker
Department: Warehouse Reports To: Inventory Control Supervisor
Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: 4:30 pm - 3:30 am Mon-Thurs, Overtime as required
Job Summary: Picks garments needed to fulfill orders specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Previews order to ensure required garments are available.
Verifies items and counts and checks against order in the Edgeware system.
Affixes bar code label on box and stages accordingly, maintaining productivity standards.
Communicates with inventory coordinator regarding inventory levels.
Delivers or routes product to correct department or staging area.
Rotates stock per department procedure.
Learn and use equipment as necessary, including the pallet picker.
Straightens and picks up warehouse on a daily basis to keep in orderly fashion.
Utilizes personal protective equipment as required for personal safety.
Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Performs job consistently within established performance standards.-Picks an average of 75 orders per day.
Is punctual, observes prescribed work break/meal periods and has an acceptable overall attendance record.
Other duties as assigned or dictated by the needs of the business.
Essential Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, interpret orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standard situations.

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move as much as 100 pounds. Specific vision required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
